Diaspora Network of Djibouti (RDD & Canada), an NGO based in Canada and CANADEM concluded on October 13 an agreement of partnership. CANADEM, recognized for its excellence in managing directory (roster) of experts required to work in international affairs, will manage on behalf of the Network, a directory of Canadian experts from the diaspora Djibouti.

This initiative is one of three strategic priorities for SDI Canada, namely capacity building. The Network wants to make available to Djibouti and any international organization of skilled human resources, experienced and capable of adapting to diversity. This directory has the advantage of offering a wide variety of expertise, whether in the administration and evaluation of programs, information technology, human resources management, finance, engineering, of health administration, etc..

"In a context where the brain drain is becoming a major obstacle for the development of African countries, the Network will, by partnering with a leader like CANADEM propose an alternative," said Roda Muse, president of SDI- Canada. Diaspora Djibouti Canada shows, increasingly, its ability to adapt to a rapidly changing world by integrating a professional environment recognized for its excellence.

The Network wants to put at the disposal of Djibouti expertise of these professionals, whether in the field of community development, capacity building in the public sector, management of business applications or scientific expertise."

Kevin McMahon, Director of Repertory CANADEM expresses his satisfaction regarding the partnership with SDI, "we recruit and deploy experts for over 14 years and understand how important it is to have good candidates if we want to succeed in the field of capacity building."
